The moment we set this machine up, I was off and sweating! I have been going to the gym for years now doing the treadmill and stair master, and I've never had work out this good! I had a neck injury a few years ago, and any bouncing up and down aggravates it. You can really feel its effectiveness, yet it is non impact and does not bother my neck at all. I was a bit concerned about the price of the TC-20, but now that I've been using it, I know I made the right decision.
My only two suggestions: Add an Pod outlet and to help with assembly mark the box for which to start.

Bought it for my girlfriend and myself. Good workout but come on bowfkex ..... The heart rate monitor is lame. It should be able to connect to a smart phone or device and save pace, distance etc to any of the workout apps out there. For that matter bowfkex should have their own app for it. Very disappointing for an industry leader like Bowflex.

Comments about Bowflex TreadClimber TC20:
Pros:
First of all the wife and I think its a great product...solidly built and serves our purpose of losing weight and building up our endurance for inside our residence..We no longer have to worry about joining a club or if the weather outside is going to be an issue.
Cons:
We do wish that the designers had an option for the treadles to be switched into a level walking mode like a treadmill instead of a consistant up hill walking mode.

Comments about Bowflex TreadClimber TC20:
It is really a good work out and it is helpful to do an intense exercise with minimal impact on your joints.
The only problem I am having with it is toping off at the end of each cycle upwards which make a clack as if it is metal on metal noise rather than being the shock absorber that it has to absorb the impact. I will be talking to the company to see if this is a defect or if it is something that can be fixed.

Comments about Bowflex TreadClimber TC20:
My wife and I are 50ish and very busy. We need a way to work out that pushes the Cardio. This machine does that while making you work to keep up, sort of like having a trainer there making you get a good work out. Also easy on the older joints.

I was actually surprised to find out that you can move the Treadclimber where ever you want it and then move it out of the way when not in use. It is a much harder workout than just a treadmill or elliptical machine,it really makes you work and sweat.

Comments about Bowflex TreadClimber TC20:
Located in our bedroom as a constant reminder to keep in shape at 72. Rain or shine, hot or cold, no excuse for not taking a walk. We can watch TV as we stroll. Already feel the difference in our leg muscles. Hope to achieve no more leg cramps at our age. After 50 some years of putting Christmas presents together, this assembly was a piece of cake. Will not let our neighbors know we have this or the doorbell would be ringing.

Comments about Bowflex TreadClimber TC20:
The TC20 is easy to assemble, and i had a little trouble adjusting the belt position and tension. But with a simple call to customer service, everything went smooth as silk. The customer service department is by far the best of any company i have ever dealt with. The TC20 is easy to use, enjoyable to use, and sturdy enough to handle my heavy frame. I just love it. And after only two weeks i am noticing improvements with my heart rate and endurance. I started losing weight also. I will recommend the TreadClimber to everyone. It is a good product, and delivers as promised. Thank you Bowflex.

Most people are able to assemble their TreadClimber with the assistance of the detailed assembly manual and supplemental assembly videos. However, we encourage you to take a look at the online manual (www.bowflex.com/manuals) to make sure it's something you would be comfortable with. We do offer an increasingly popular In-Home Assembly service that you can add to your order during checkout.
