The TreadClimber® machine is a unique breakthrough in the fitness industry. It combines the actions of the three most effective cardio machines into one:

  1. TREADMILL: Splitting the treadle into two separate belts, the TreadClimber® machine delivers the walking, jogging and running action of a treadmill—and goes a step further. In addition to your legs and glutes, it engages the core muscles that help maintain your balance.
  2. STAIR CLIMBER: The pumping action of the separate treadles replicates the highly effective aerobic exertion of stepping.
  3. ELLIPTICAL: As the TreadClimber® machine's treadles rise to meet your stride, the impact on your joints is reduced, so you enjoy the same smooth, ergonomic motion of the best elliptical machines.

The efficient and easy TreadClimber® machine gives you the ultimate cardio workout—and all you do is WALK™.

I bought this Tread Climber for my wife and I to lose weight and improve overall health. We have had been using it for 2 weeks and I'm already seeing results. With a better diet and using the Tread Climber for 30 minutes a day 4 days a week, I have lost 7 of the 20 pounds I need to lose. I'm looking forward to the next doctor visit to see if my blood pressure and resting heart rate has come down any.

It's not an easy workout (for me). I guess workouts should never be easy. I do feel like I'm working more with this that I ever had on a treadmill or eliptical machine. It does feel like you are walking up a steep hill waist deep in mud. You get a good sweat going quickly.

The controls are difficult to use. There are only 5 buttons on the console. It's very difficult to set the goals for my wife and I. It would be nice if it could automate some intervals instead of manually having to adjust the speed up or down.

Bought it for my girlfriend and myself. Good workout but come on bowfkex ..... The heart rate monitor is lame. It should be able to connect to a smart phone or device and save pace, distance etc to any of the workout apps out there. For that matter bowfkex should have their own app for it. Very disappointing for an industry leader like Bowflex.

Great Machine with One Flaw

Comments about Bowflex TreadClimber TC20:

I purchased the TC20 just over a year ago. It is addictive and easy to continue use. I come home after work and climb on the Treadclimber before dinner, it helps to relax the mind and body, helps to control ones appetite therefore allowing for faster weight loss.

This machine has only one flaw, the shocks used to raise the treads wear out extremely fast. I have not had a set last more than seven months. If they improve this flaw the machine is an easy five star!

        I am a 4 to 5
times a week user as part of my cardio rehab program. I am mid fifties and find this equipment easy to use and assemble.
Some parts are heavy so get help if you are intending to do it by yourself.
It may feel "clunky" at first but give it a few minutes to warm up the valving in the dampers and it smoothes right out.

        Comments about Bowflex TreadClimber TC20:

Low impact, which is great on knees and a sore foot.

The electronics have bare minimum: speed, heartrate, and duration. There is very little else with respect to long term tracking. Only two people can record, and not with any useful capabilities. If these electronics are way better than the 10 model, I shudder to think what Luddite might be stuck using the middle model.

At the end of my busy work day I simply grab my iPad throw on a TV show and walk on the TreadClimber for 30 mins to get my much needed wind down and great exercise. It is easy on your knees while working on your butt, legs and midsection. I get wonderfully sweaty without feeling overwhelmed or pressured. When the beep goes off indicating 30 mins is up I am always surprised at how the time flew by. Thanks for helping me get back to the gym after having a baby while not sacrificing my family time.

                Comments about Bowflex TreadClimber TC20:

My sister has an older model and loves it, so I'd thought I'd give it a try. I bought the TC-20 model. Figured if I'm going to spend that much on a machine, may as well get the best one with the best warranty. It was tough at first as I wasn't hanging on to the rails and just trying to walk unsupported. Almost killed me. Once I got the hang of it, and I now use the rails, it really works. I set the timer for 31 minutes and 3 MPH. I burn about 431 calories. I've been using it not quite 2 months and I've almost lost my love handles. There is no stress on the knees what so ever. It's not fan quiet but not bad at all. I just turn the TV up a little. Great machine. Glad I made the investment. I almost bought a treadmill, glad I didn't.

The TC20 allows you to track up to two users. Doing so is very simple! To preview the process, please feel free to download the Owner's Manual at www.bowflex.com/manuals.

The machine should be placed on clean, hard, level surface. Carpeted flooring is fine. Regardless of the type of flooring, we strongly recommend using one of our machine mats to protect your floor.
