I am using this for general fitness post-pregnancy. I was walking with some weight training and stretching prior to giving birth. After the baby arrived, I needed something convenient that could be done at home regardless of weather. I also wanted to maximize the small amount of time I had. The TreadClimber is a very efficient, effective and convenient way for me to add exercise back into my daily life.

Comments about Bowflex TreadClimber TC20:
I was thinking about making this purchase for almost a year and finally decided to get the TC20 (why not go for the best). I am totally satisfied! I read all the reviews and you have to take them with a grain of salt. It came in 4 sturdy boxes and did not take 5 hours (like another post) said to put together. It took around 2 hours and the instructions were just fine. After it was together I couldn't wait to get on it. Let's say the first time all it took was 5 minutes and I was breathing like I ran for 30 on the treadmill. I love it. It gives you a great workout in a short amount of time. I have been doing it almost daily for the last month and I feel fantastic! It's expensive folks….but worth every penny. I'm not a gym person but now I can get that type of workout in my own home.

Although it took a while to be shipped, I couldnt be happier with the treadclimber so far. I have been using it every day for the last 3 weeks, and have noticed my legs are becoming more tone. I can go 30min everyday and each day at a faster pace! I cant wait to see where the next 3weeks of using the Treadclimber takes me

It is more effort for me than treadmill but burns more calories faster. I am determined to use it daily to get back in shape. A Grandson easily did 5 minutes first time.I believe it will help me build strength and get back in shape. Mixing stretch and aerobic exercise will help too.

Comments about Bowflex TreadClimber TC20:
I use my Treadclimber 30 minutes, 3-4 X's per week. I definitely started out slowly, and started to build up to 2.5 within the first week. Everything about this Treadclimber is great; it is easy to use, you get a great workout (you'll be sweating by minute 8, and that's a good thing!). I used to be an avid runner, but my knees took a beating. With the Treadclimber, I feel no joint pain. A little winded after 30 minutes, and completely soaked with persperation (I don't perspire usually), but feeling energized and healthy.
I would highly recommend the Bowflex TreadClimber TC20 to anyone of any age. I am looking forward to many years of fitness on this machine! I cannot say enough great things about it.
Thank you, Bowflex!

I bought the product because of my heart concerns. I needed a low impact way that I could control, but still had the results I needed. The heart monitor is an exceptional asset. It allows me to push myself without overexerting my heart as most traditional exercise methods do.

It would be too bulky/costly to ship fully assembled. I would encourage you to look through the assembly manual to see if you want to assemble the TC20 yourself. The manual can be found at http://download.nautilus.com/supportdocs/AM/Bowflex/BFX.TC20.AM.EN.pdf
We also have a supplemental assembly video that walks you through all the steps in the assembly process: http://youtu.be/ZfdM5ixTa0g
If you decide that you don't want to tackle the assembly yourself, keep in mind that you can add our In-Home assembly service to your order during checkout (U.S. only; see the In Home Assembly link on the product page to check pricing and availability in your area).Answered on 12/11/2011 by RC from Nautilus WHQ, Vancouver, WAA:
